Industry Veterans Join CSX Executive Leadership Team

President and Chief Executive Officer E. Hunter Harrison joined CSX in March 2017.

Harrison is a rail industry legend, having successfully transformed three major railroads through his Precision Scheduled Railroading model. He most recently served as the president and chief executive officer of Canadian Pacific Railway Limited and Canadian Pacific Railway Company.

“I am proud to join the dedicated and talented railroaders at CSX,” Harrison said. “Together, we will implement Precision Scheduled Railroading – a model proven to improve safety, create better service for customers, produce a proud and winning culture for employees, and generate exceptional, lasting value for shareholders."

Harrison is joined by his long-time colleague, Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Chief of Staff​ Mark Wallace, a proven leader who most recently served as the chief of staff and vice president of corporate affairs at Canadian Pacific Railway Limited, a role he was

appointed to in September 2012. While at Canadian Pacific, Mr. Wallace was responsible for the corporate communications and public affairs, investor relations, facilities and real estate functions as well as overseeing the efficient operations within the president and chief executive officer’s office.
