Our business resource groups empower employees to connect with peers and company executives, and to build a community of support, trust and advocacy as they grow their careers. These groups also use their shared interests and experiences to promote engagement, boost cultural awareness and create positive change both within the company and in the communities we serve.

ABLE Business Resource Group
The CSX ABLE BRG supports engagement by fostering a workplace where individuals with both visible and invisible disabilities—and coworkers whose families include people with disabilities—feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive. ABLE's commitment ensures an inclusive environment that promotes productivity, accessibility, and success for all.
APEX Business Resource Group
The CSX APEX BRG champions CSX’s guiding principle of valuing and developing employees by building a strong network of Asian professionals and allies. APEX is committed to recommending strategies that promote cultural understanding, support community programs, foster a sense of belonging, and support the growth and success of Asian talent across all levels of the organization.
ASCEND Business Resource Group
The CSX ASCEND BRG supports engagement by establishing and sustaining a network that empowers African American professionals and allies to champion our values and behaviors. ASCEND is committed to recommending strategies that foster a culture of belonging, support the growth, representation, and success of African American talent across all levels of the organization.
EMPOWER Business Resource Group
The CSX EMPOWER BRG champions CSX’s guiding principle of valuing and developing employees by building a strong network of women and allies. EMPOWER raises awareness of issues impacting women and fosters growth, connection, education, and service to support their advancement.
IGNITE Business Resource Group
The CSX IGNITE BRG is focused on sparking interest in technology and innovation amongst all employees. It supports science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education initiatives and organizations. IGNITE provides career and professional development resources for employees in the STEM-related careers at CSX. IGNITE's activities actively promote inclusion by removing barriers, fostering ideas through education and development, and supporting community programs.
PRIDE Business Resource Group
The CSX PRIDE BRG focuses on advocacy, education, policy and community outreach in support of the LGBTQ+ community. The group partners with community advocacy groups on focused initiatives to support open dialogue, acceptance and support for LGBTQ+ employees at CSX and in the communities in which the company operates.
SALUTE Business Resource Group
The CSX SALUTE BRG is dedicated to honoring and supporting the nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. By engaging with the CSX Pride in Service initiative, SALUTE actively supports outreach efforts that strengthen ties to the military community. Internally, SALUTE fosters a dynamic forum for sharing ideas, enhancing talent acquisition, and cultivating a supportive network that reinforces the group’s commitment to service. SALUTE is focused on nurturing a sense of family and belonging, ensuring that when colleagues are deployed, their loved ones receive the care, resources, and support they deserve.
UNIDOS Business Resource Group
The CSX UNIDOS BRG is committed to the engagement and professional growth of CSX’s Hispanic and Latinx employees with a focus on recruitment, development, cultural awareness and community involvement. UNIDOS provides a forum for employee support, networking, and celebrating the Hispanic and Latinx culture.
