To ensure the safety of our employees, your employees, customers, and communities, all activities on CSX property must be scheduled with CSX in advance. Scheduling depends on several factors, including, but not limited, to the availability of flagging and inspection services, if required.
Before requesting scheduling for work or access, you must have received all approvals required to enter CSX property.
Submit all requests to schedule activity through the CSX Property Portal. A CSX representative will contact you to arrange scheduling.
For new facilities or modifications to existing facilities, you will receive an email after the permit or agreement has been executed. The email will include a special reference number and a link to the CSX Property Outside Party Request Form application.
You do not need to include the special reference number on the Outside Party Request Form for minor inspection or maintenance of existing facilities, or for replacement of existing facilities with like-kind facilities.
No activity is permitted without written confirmation. Entering any railroad right of way or other railroad property without the railroad’s permission is trespassing and illegal. Violators will be prosecuted and risk serious, even fatal, injury.
Before working on CSX property in Canada, complete and submit the form for the appropriate territory using a link below.
CSX is aware of an issue with the Property Portal affecting users and the issue should be resolved soon. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while this is resolved!!
