CSXT is experiencing delays in several areas of the eastern United States due to ice and snow. In Kentucky, more than 500,000 people are without power. CSX is working with utility companies in affected areas to restore signals to resume train operations.
Operations in West Virginia and Tennessee are also impacted by commercial power outages; generators are being deployed.
Train delays of 24-48 hours in affected areas should be expected. In the Northeast, train operations have been impacted but are expected to slowly return to normal.
We are working diligently to restore normal train operations in the impacted areas. If you need to contact CSX Customer Service, please call 1-877-ShipCSX, (1-877-744-7279), option 5, option 6.
