Consistent with normal practice, CSX is monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Hanna and taking appropriate precautions in the Southeast coastal areas to protect employees and minimize delays to shipments.
These precautions include securing equipment, staging materials, and making arrangements for redirecting shipments on alternative routes.
Current forecasts point to a likely landfall in the Carolinas. CSX is working with customers in the potentially affected areas to ensure that rail equipment is moved or secured.
