CSX Customer Advisory: Potential Delays on Chicago-Area Mainline

A power outage earlier today at the BP oil refinery in Whiting, Indiana has resulted in an increased presence of smoke in the air which is temporarily impacting CSX operations on the mainline south of Chicago. Customers are advised to expect delays as traffic is rerouted around the area.

Updates will be provided as needed. Please monitor our Customer Advisories and the Intermodal-specific Real-Time Service Advisories for information on potential operational actions that may become necessary, and notify your CSX contact of any site closures or changes in local service in the affected area.
