CSX Transportation is continuing operations through heavy snow and ice conditions in the Midwest and Northeast where it is possible to do so safely. Due to the impact of this continued severe winter weather, our Chicago Yard switching is slowed and interchanging traffic with other railroads has also been impacted. Additionally, we are also experiencing slowed operations across a large portion of our network. CSX crews will continue to work to maintain service as safely and swiftly as possible, however, customers are advised to expect delays over the next 48 to 72 hours until this weather passes.
