CSX Customer Advisory – Winter Storm Stella Impact

Please be advised that CSX has prepared for the impacts of Winter Storm Stella across the Northeast region. CSX operations initiated its Winter Action Plan and is taking every precaution to protect employees, rail traffic and infrastructure.  Locomotives and generators have been relocated to areas expected to be hardest hit, and snow removal contractors are standing by at key locations, including intermodal terminals in key areas in the storm’s path.

Some intermodal terminals and automotive ramps in the Northeast will be closed for the next 24 – 48 hours.  Customers with freight travelling through impacted areas should expect delays during this time period.  Please contact your sales or customer service contact for specific details.
