The impact of the severe winter weather continues to slow operations across a large portion of the CSX network. Areas that were hit hard over the past weeks continue to work diligently to catch up and restore consistency to our service. New York, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana still are dealing with significant congestion and traffic backlogs. With warming temperatures across most of this region this week, weather conditions are improving. However, customers still should expect delays of 24 – 48 hours through the end of this week. If you have questions regarding specific shipments, please access the Problem Resolution tool via ShipCSX or contact the Customer Service Center at 1-877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279) option 5, option 6.
