CSX Monitoring Chicago Region Winter Storm

CSX is monitoring a winter storm that is expected to bring heavy snowfall to the Chicago region late Tuesday into Wednesday, then continue eastward.

In preparation, CSX is implementing precautionary measures and positioning assets to support operations and protect employee safety. We will continue to track the storm and issue further notifications as warranted. Please monitor our Customer Advisories and the Intermodal-specific Real-Time Service Advisories for information on potential operational actions that may become necessary, and notify your CSX contact of any site closures or changes in local service needs resulting from the storm.
