CSX Holiday Operating Schedule


Understanding that our customers need time to plan ahead for the upcoming holidays, the following is the CSX holiday schedule:

Christmas: In observance of Christmas, CSX plans to curtail most non-unit train operations over the holiday beginning at 7 a.m. Dec. 24 through 7 a.m. Dec. 26. During this time, most terminal and train operations will be curtailed. Our Customer Service team will have limited staffing on Christmas Eve from 6  a.m. to 6 p.m., EST. CSX is closed on Christmas Day.

New Year’s: CSX will maintain a normal operating schedule during the New Year’s holiday.

Customers with critical shipments during these holidays are asked to contact the CSX Customer Service Center as soon as possible. For more information on shipments, customers can contact the CSX Customer Service Center via ShipCSX’s Problem Resolution Tool or by calling 1-877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279), prompt #5, then prompt #6. Intermodal customers should call 1-800-542-2754, prompt #2.
