CSX Customer Advisory: Trenton, Kentucky, Derailment May Cause Delays

CSX customers should expect shipment delays through Trenton, Kentucky, after a CSX train derailed 31 cars today near Trenton Tress Shop Road and Dixie Bee Line Highway.

No injuries were reported, and a fire involving one rail car was quickly extinguished. As a precaution, Todd County issued a half-mile shelter-in-place order around the impacted site, which has now been lifted.

CSX crews are actively on site, working safely and efficiently to clean up the area. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our employees, the local community, and the environment. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
