CSX is actively assessing the impacts of Helene and has begun implementing service recovery plans. After making landfall in Florida’s Big Bend as a Category 4 hurricane, Helene has weakened to a tropical storm and is currently moving across the Southeast, bringing strong winds and heavy rain. As a result, communities across Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Virginia are experiencing disruptions.
CSX team members have been successfully clearing tracks, inspecting signals and crossings, installing generators, and making repairs where necessary in affected areas. However, please be advised of anticipated service delays in the following regions:
