CSX Customer Advisory: Storm Helene Recovery Update

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, CSX continues to implement our service recovery plans. Our dedicated team has been working around the clock to clear debris and address power outages across the affected areas. While we have made significant headway in these efforts, some delays are still being experienced. We remain committed to restoring service as quickly and safely as possible.

Florida, Midwest and Southern Zones

These areas are fully operational.

Georgia Zone

The majority of subdivisions are back in operation. Notably, the Thomasville Subdivision has reopened, improving access to and from Waycross.

Carolina Zone

We expect the following areas to return to service tonight:
- The Augusta Subdivision, facilitating movement between Augusta and Waycross.
- The Monroe Subdivision, enabling a route from Hamlet to Atlanta.
- The Columbia Subdivision, providing a route from Columbia to Savannah.
The Blue Ridge Subdivision remains severely affected by flooding and infrastructure damage, resulting in a long-term outage.
Several other subdivisions, including Georgia Road (SW), McCormick, CN and L, Eastover, Charlotte, Spartanburg, and Belton, are currently closed due to power outages. Estimated restoration times range from Wednesday to Friday evening.
