CSX Customer Advisory: Potential Shipment Delays Due to Severe Weather

Please be advised that severe weather conditions are currently affecting communities across the CSX network. A storm system that swept through on Tuesday, bringing torrential rainfall and flooding from North Carolina to New York, is expected to persist throughout the week.

CSX has plans in place to keep shipments moving, though some delays are expected. The following locations are currently experiencing the most significant disruptions.

Cumberland Subdivision: Flooding at Stuart Tunnel (34 miles east of Cumberland, MD) has closed both tracks, impacting service between Cumberland and Baltimore/Brunswick.
Mountain Subdivision: Landslides between Grafton, MD and Keyser, WV have disrupted service between Cumberland, MD and Grafton, MD.
Keystone Subdivision: A 200-foot washout (7 miles from Cumberland) has impacted both tracks, affecting service between Cumberland, MD and Connellsville, PA.
