CSX Transportation (CSXT) has resumed normal train operations into Waycross, GA, Savannah, GA, and limited service into Jacksonville, FL. Additionally, engineering crews have worked through the night to restore service in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. Customers should expect delays to continue as backlogs are being worked down. CSX intermodal terminals in Jacksonville, Central Florida and Tampa have re-opened with train service delays still expected. Much of the service restoration efforts and schedule determination depends on the availability of commercial power which is not fully restored in some areas.
