CSX Customer Advisory - IRMA UPDATE: CSX Restores Service in GA, SC, AL and Jacksonville, FL

CSX Transportation (CSXT) has resumed normal train operations into Waycross, GA, Savannah, GA, and limited service into Jacksonville, FL. Additionally, engineering crews have worked through the night to restore service in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. Customers should expect delays to continue as backlogs are being worked down. CSX intermodal terminals in Jacksonville, Central Florida and Tampa have re-opened with train service delays still expected. Specific updates on storm-impacted terminals on the intermodal network are available on www.intermodal.com.

CSX operating teams continue to work on clearing the following routes:

Jacksonville, FL to Tampa, FL: This line is anticipated to be back in service by this evening, Wednesday, September 13th.
Tampa, FL to Miami, FL: The route is still being evaluated with the repair timetable to be determined. A progress report on this route may be provided as early as tomorrow, Thursday, September 14th.
Jacksonville, FL to Orlando, FL: The route is still being evaluated with the repair timetable to be determined. A progress report on this route may be provided as early as tomorrow, Thursday, September 14th.

Much of the service restoration efforts and schedule determination depends on the availability of commercial power which is not fully restored in some areas. As conditions improve, further updates will be provided as impacted lines return to normal operation. In the meantime, CSX representatives are available to customers to discuss alternatives.
