CSX Customer Advisory – Hyndman, Pa. Derailment May Cause Delays

Please be advised that trains and shipments travelling between Connellsville, Pa. and Cumberland, Md. can expect delays due to a train that derailed in Hyndman, Pa., on Wednesday morning.  No injuries were reported and CSX personnel are currently working to safely restore service.  Traffic scheduled through this area is being re-routed to alternate CSX routes. 

Customers with freight traveling across these lines should expect service disruptions for one week as recovery crews are working to fully restore service through the area and making any infrastructure or equipment repairs that may be necessary.  We will continue to work with customers to provide updates on the latest routing information as we closely monitor operations to ensure normal train operations resume as soon as possible.
