Please be advised that CSX Transportation operations are experiencing some delays due to a derailed train in Washington, D.C. on Sunday that is blocking both main tracks. Traffic scheduled through this area is being re-routed to alternate CSX routes. Customers with freight traveling across these lines should expect delays of 8 to 24 hours. Recovery crews are working to fully restore service through the area and making any infrastructure or equipment repairs that may be necessary.
We will continue to work with customers to provide the latest ETA and routing information to best accommodate requests and minimize further delays. Updates will be provided as warranted as we continue to closely monitor operations to ensure normal train operations resume as soon as possible.
