Please be advised that CSX is closely monitoring Tropical Depression Bertha as it approaches the Gulf Coast. The system, which is expected to become a tropical storm later today, is forecast to bring heavy rainfall, flash flooding, high winds and other severe weather conditions that could affect transportation infrastructure and rail operations across portions of the Gulf Coast region, particularly in and around New Orleans.

As part of regional storm preparations, floodgate closures are expected in the New Orleans area Tuesday, July 21, by 5 p.m., affecting both local and interchange traffic between Mobile and New Orleans. Customers with shipments through the CSX Southeast and Southwest regions should anticipate potential delays.

CSX is implementing measures to protect our employees, customers, and communities. Our team is working diligently to ensure minimal service disruptions while maintaining the highest safety standards.
