Export Tariff release - CSXT 4734-O effective 01 April 2010

CSXT would like to share with our customers the changes to our Export Tariff CSXT 4734-O that will be effective April 1, 2010. The scope of this letter is limited to the changes in the rate structure and fuel surcharge mechanism. If any other changes are made to the tariff language or structure you will be notified in the appropriate manner.

Although no additional changes to this rate structure are currently anticipated, CSXT reserves the right to make any changes that it feels are appropriate in this dynamic marketplace. If any other changes are made to the tariff language or structure, our customers will be notified in the appropriate manner and timeframe.

The Fuel Surcharge within Section 3 of the Tariff has been changed to set the HDF Average Price baseline to 199.9 cents, consistent with our standard CSXT Fuel Surcharge Publication 8661 Series. In part the Fuel Surcharge states: The HDF Average Price for a month will be the average price for that month of U.S. No. 2 Diesel Retail Sales by All Sellers, as determined and published by the U. S. Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (DOE-EIA). That average price will, in calculating the HDF Average Price, be rounded to the nearest 1/10th of a cent applying conventional rounding principles. The fuel surcharge will be 1�� per mile per railcar for every 4�� per gallon, or portion thereof, by which the HDF Average Price for the calendar month two months prior to the calendar month of shipment exceeds 199.9 cents.
