November 18, 2020 – The U.S. rail industry is expected to meet the end-of-2020 federal deadline for positive train control (PTC) full operability, but in some ways the PTC era is just beginning. An article in this month’s Progressive Railroading magazine discusses how ongoing coordination will be necessary to support technology evolution and system interoperability.
