Environmental experts confirm that it is safe to return to the evacuated areas.
Residents can now go home and businesses can get back to work.
We urge all residents to be especially safe on area roads as they return home.
CSX’s Community Outreach Center will remain open, to reimburse residents for costs incurred, answer health and safety questions, and distribute bottled water.
The center will remain open until the community’s concerns have been met. Please take your time and visit the center at your leisure.

Please note: There is no risk associated with homegrown produce. Municipal water is safe to drink. Testing results for well water are expected later today. Until testing results are in, and out of an abundance of caution, residents are advised not to drink or come into contact with well water. Water is also available at the Community Outreach Center.
There are a few roads located near the derailment that remain closed. They are highlighted on the map.
