Hurricane Dorian Information
September 25, 2019 – UPDATE: Hurricane Dorian has continued its track along the Eastern seaboard and is expected to impact portions of the CSX network in the Northeast on Friday and into the weekend. We are closely monitoring conditions and will provide timely updates to customers as needed.
We continue to notify customers of delays and reroutings of shipments moving through impacted areas of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Resources are in place to respond quickly - as soon as conditions permit - and restore normal operations. Intermodal customers should refer to Real-Time Service Advisories for intermodal-specific operational actions.

9/3/2019 UPDATE: CSX continues to monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and has made extensive preparations for the effects of the storm. At this time, we anticipate that Dorian will impact portions of the CSX network in the following regions; customers with freight moving through impacted areas will be advised of any delays or rerouting:

Please be advised that CSX customers in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas may experience service disruptions as a result of Hurricane Dorian. We are working to minimize any delays as much as possible and proactively notify impacted customers.

8/30/2019 UPDATE: CSX is taking precautions to protect employees, rail traffic and infrastructure as multiple weather agencies forecast a risk of Hurricane Dorian making landfall on the U.S. Atlantic coast early next week. At this time, it is not known the level of impact the storm will have on CSX operations, but its path and intensity are being closely monitored as we take steps to prepare for any potential effects on our network.
