CSX’s annual Chemical Safety Excellence Award, celebrates our customers' commitment to safe hazardous material rail car loading and maintenance. Recipients understand the best practices of chemical safety, and demonstrate a commitment to those practices and strong industry leadership among their peers.

The awards are presented to qualified customers who ship more than 600 carloads of hazardous materials or hazardous waste without experiencing a non-accident release during the entire year. Shippers include companies from the chemicals, fertilizer, agriculture, waste and metals markets.

2014 Winners

In 2015, CSX recognized a continued commitment to excellence in the top group of companies who have made the list for 10 years: AkzoNobel Chemicals, Inc. International Chemical Company and Westlake Chemical.
