CSX Customer Advisory: Temporary Service Adjustment Due to Morgan County, W.Va., Derailment

Please be advised that CSX is temporarily rerouting trains and adjusting service following a ten-car derailment in Morgan County, West Virginia, on Monday afternoon, Feb. 12. CSX crews are working diligently to restore operations safely and efficiently. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this time. 

Safety remains our greatest priority, and we are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the cause of this event. There have been no injuries reported and none of the rail cars carrying hazardous materials lost their contents.
 
Our teams are currently onsite making necessary repairs. We anticipate resuming service on one of the two impacted rail lines by 1 p.m. today. The second line is projected to reopen tomorrow afternoon.
