In preparation for Hurricane Gustav, CSX has arranged alternative gateways for traffic normally interchanged in New Orleans and has suspended certain local services where required.

All precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and the public with minimal delay to shipments. CSX operations forces have secured equipment, staged materials and positioned personnel to expedite resumption of service as the storm passes.
