With Tropical Storm Hanna's landfall early Saturday in the Carolinas, CSX is now returning to normal operations in that area. No significant service issues have occurred, and operations are being restored once track inspections are conducted. Consistent with normal practices, CSX services in the northern path of Hanna will continue to be modified to keep employees safe and minimize customer impacts. CSX preparations included securing equipment, staging materials and making arrangements, if necessary, to redirect shipments.
