CUSTOMER SERVICE BULLETIN - CSX Actions in Response to CP Strike

May 23, 2012 – CSX is closely monitoring the work stoppage that occurred early today on the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP), which is affecting its Canadian operations.

At this time, CSX continues to accept and move any traffic billed to destinations on the CP in Canada, but will not perform any interchanges to or from the CP until the strike is ended. If this labor situation is not resolved within the next 12-24 hours, CSX will take additional actions that include staging rail cars on the CSX network that are destined to CP locations in Canada.

CSX will keep you updated as events warrant.
