CSX Transportation is taking precautions to protect employees, rail traffic and infrastructure as Hurricane Arthur moves toward the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Rail cars and locomotives have been moved out of the Wilmington, N.C., area, and some local operations will be suspended temporarily. The storm is not expected to have a significant impact on CSX operations, but its path and intensity are being closely monitored.

Customers with traffic in eastern North Carolina and other Mid-Atlantic regions should expect some delays until traffic resumes at its normal pace.
