The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference-Running Trades and CP have agreed to enter into binding arbitration, ending a strike by engineers and conductors against CP that began over the weekend.

No CSX operations were affected, although the company monitored interchange traffic with CP at Detroit, Michigan, and Buffalo, N.Y. CN, meanwhile, continues its negotiations with Unifor, which represents its shop crafts. CN has already reached a tentative agreement with its engineers and conductors.
