A winter storm is impacting some CSX Transportation freight trains in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions by hampering the ability of train crews to report for assignments in some locations.  Customers with shipments moving in or through these areas should expect some delays over the next 24-48 hours.  CSX does not expect the effect to be long-lasting and service should return to normal as the weather clears.  For further information on specific shipments, customers can contact CSX’s Customer Service Center at 1-877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279) options 5, 6.
