Severe flooding continues to impact CSX Transportation's operations in western Tennessee. The Memphis-Nashville line remains closed and is not expected to re-open for at least seven days. The line from Nashville south to Franklin and Carter's Creek also is closed until further notice. Re-routes are being established for traffic that would normally traverse the Memphis-Nashville line. However, other rail carriers are similarly affected by the flooding. CSXT continues to monitor conditions on all affected areas.

Customers with traffic through this area can expect delays up to 72 hours. In addition, an embargo is being issued for traffic on the Nashville-Memphis and Nashville-Franklin/Carter's Creek line until conditions improve.
