CSX is monitoring conditions as a major winter storm is forecast to move along the East Coast this weekend. Frigid temperatures and blizzard conditions are expected in some areas, which may impact rail traffic.
 
CSX is implementing precautionary measures to support operations and protect employee safety, including repositioning assets and identifying alternative routings that may be required for some shipments.
 
We will continue to track the storm and issue further notifications as warranted. Please monitor our Customer Advisories and the Intermodal-specific Real-Time Service Advisories for information on potential operational actions that may become necessary, and notify your CSX contact of any site closures or changes in local service needs resulting from the storm.
