CSX continues to actively monitor Winter Storm Gianna as it moves across the East Coast. The storm is producing heavy snowfall, blizzard conditions, and coastal flooding across portions of our network. Several parts of the Carolinas zone are experiencing freezing cold temperatures, with impacts reaching as far south as Savannah, GA. As we prioritize the safety of our employees, communities, and operations, customers may experience extended transit times.

• The CSX Southeast Region is the most significantly impacted, with snow related delays and road closures from Petersburg, VA, to Rocky Mount, NC.
• Intermodal terminals in North Carolina remain temporarily closed following record snowfall. Normal operations are expected to resume Monday, Feb. 2, pending weather conditions.
   
  • ​​​​Charlotte, NC terminal: Reopening at 0730 EST
  • CCX terminal: Reopening at 0600 EST
