The U.S. Coast Guard has approved a temporary test allowing CSX to remotely operate five drawbridges in Mississippi and Alabama from our train yard in Mobile, Alabama.

The test will be in effect from 7 a.m. on June 22 through 7 a.m. on September 14. During this period, operating hours and the existing process to request a bridge opening will not change.

Affected bridges include:

• Bay St. Louis, Mississippi
• Biloxi Bay, Mississippi
• Pascagoula River, Mississippi
• Three Mile Creek, Alabama
• Chickasaw Creek, Alabama

CSX does not anticipate any service changes as a result of this temporary test and will continue working closely with the U.S. Coast Guard and other stakeholders throughout the test period.
