Please be advised that CSX is temporarily rerouting trains following a 17-car derailment today near Campbell Road and Nancy Circle in Smyrna, Georgia.

We have confirmed that there were no injuries, no hazardous materials were released, and there is no threat to the safety of the surrounding community as a result of this incident. Safety remains our top priority, and we are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause.

We are dedicated to restoring normal operations as safely and quickly as possible. CSX Engineering teams are working diligently to restore the track, with services expected to resume this afternoon. However, some delays may still occur.
