CSX has successfully restored service on additional track segments impacted by flood conditions in North and South Carolina.
- Charleston Sub: Florence, SC to Charleston, SC (A-Line) – Normal operations have resumed.
- Orangeburg Sub: Sumter, SC to Orangeburg, SC – Normal operations have resumed.
- Creston Sub: Creston, SC to Giant, SC – Normal operations have resumed.
- Georgetown Sub: Andrews, SC to Georgetown and Pennyroyal, SC – This line is anticipated to be back in service by 20:00 hours, Monday, October 12th, with the exception of the Pennyroyal area.
- Andrews Sub: Hamlet, NC to Charleston, SC – There is still water over tracks in various sections. An evaluation and repair timetable will be developed once the water has fully receded.
- Eastover Sub: Columbia, SC to Sumter, SC – Several sections of track along the route have experienced washout conditions. At this time, CSX engineering anticipates a two week timeline for repairs to be completed.
