Following are the CSX Transportation HDF Fuel Surcharge (8662) / Fuel Index Rate Adjustment
(8661) amounts effective June 1, 2019.

CSXT HDF/Mileage Based Fuel Surcharge (8662)

The highway diesel fuel/mileage based fuel surcharge published in CSXT Fuel Surcharge Publication 8662 applies to all regulated common carriage and public exempt line haul freight rates existing or established by CSXT on or after January 1, 2015.

The CSXT HDF/mileage based fuel surcharge of 0 cents per mile, which became effective May 1, 2019, will remain at 0 cents per mile for shipments having a bill of lading dated on or after June 1, 2019.

Following are the 8662 CSXT HDF/mileage based fuel surcharge rates:

0 cents per mile effective January 1, 2019
0 cents per mile effective February 1, 2019
0 cents per mile effective March 1, 2019
0 cents per mile effective April 1, 2019
0 cents per mile effective May 1, 2019
0 cents per mile effective June 1, 2019

CSXT HDF/Mileage Based Fuel Index Rate Adjustment (8661)

The highway diesel fuel/mileage based fuel index rate adjustment is published in CSXT 8661 and applies to all line haul freight rates and charges set forth in contracts, and other pricing documents that reference CSXT Publication 8661 dated on or after April 23, 2007.

The CSXT HDF/mileage based fuel index rate adjustment of 27 cents per mile, which became effective May 1, 2019, will change to 29 cents per mile for shipments having a bill of lading dated on or after June 1, 2019.

Following are the 8661 CSXT HDF/mileage based fuel index rate adjustments:

33 cents per mile effective January 1, 2019
29 cents per mile effective February 1, 2019
25 cents per mile effective March 1, 2019
25 cents per mile effective April 1, 2019
27 cents per mile effective May 1, 2019
29 cents per mile effective June 1, 2019

The fuel surcharge (public rates - 8662) and fuel index rate adjustment (contract rates - 8661) amounts are based on the "HDF Average Price" of 312.1 cents per gallon for the calendar month of April 2019. The "HDF Average Price" is on U. S. No. 2 Diesel Retail Sales by All Sellers, as determined and published by the U. S. Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration at www.eia.doe.gov.
