Shipment Sizes:

• Unit trains and trainload shipments
  The most efficient pipeline to move your coal is by unit train consisting entirely of your product. Shipments in dedicated trainload quantities seamlessly move coal from the mine load-out facilities to various destinations. 
• Single-car movements
  Services can be tailored to meet the individual needs of less-than-trainload shippers. Single cars or blocks of cars are readily managed, though unit train shipments are the preferred and most cost-effective configuration.

For Shipments Outside the United States:

Together, CSX and our terminal partners offer expert terminal handling and rail-to-vessel logistics services. CSX owns and operates two of these piers, Curtis Bay in Baltimore, MD and Toledo Dock in Toledo, OH. CSX provides rail service to each of the following terminal facilities:
