The Unified Command of the West Virginia Train Derailment released the following update. Teams with the West Virginia Train Derailment Response Unified Command restored the tracks and reopened the railway for commerce Thursday afternoon. Rail operations have resumed with caution as workers continue cleanup activities at the site.

CSX remains committed to maintaining safe operations and working closely with federal, state and local organizations on recovery efforts.
