The Unified Command of the West Virginia Train Derailment released the below update regarding the temporary closure of Highway 61 on the evening of Saturday, February 21, the continuation of efforts to serve community needs, and the on-going operations to recover product at the West Virginia Train Derailment site. CSX remains committed to maintaining safe operations and working closely with federal, state and local organizations on recovery efforts.
