Diana Sorfleet Named Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – June 20, 2011 – CSX Corporation (CSX) announced today that Diana B. Sorfleet has joined CSX as vice president and chief human resources officer, reporting to Lisa Mancini, senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

Sorfleet comes to CSX following a long career with Exelon Corporation, where she worked for two decades in the human resources department, most recently as vice president for diversity and development. She was responsible for developing a company-wide human resources strategy for the 20,000-employee organization, serving as the lead for talent acquisition, and helped design and develop new organizational structures to make human resources more efficient and effective.

In her new role with CSX, Sorfleet will oversee talent management, staffing and human resources support to the businesses, working closely with CSX’s chief diversity officer to address priorities in diversity and inclusion.

Sorfleet is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, as well as National Louis University, where she received her master’s degree in management and human resources. Sorfleet also received a master’s in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
