JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – September 19, 2018 – CSX is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Florence recovery efforts. 

James M. Foote, President and Chief Executive Officer said, “CSX is proud to operate throughout the southeastern region, states that are home to so many of our dedicated employees, customers and suppliers. We are equally proud to support the American Red Cross as they deploy to help the communities in this area that have been impacted by Hurricane Florence.”

The CSX Foundation is also matching employee contributions made to the American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts dollar-for-dollar.
