Severe winter weather has slowed rail operations on CSX Transportation in the Northeast and portions of the Midwest and Appalachia. Trains are moving and no significant disruptions have occurred. CSX's Intermodal terminal at Boston has temporarily suspended operations but service is expected to resume later today.
