JACKSONVILLE, Fla.  February 6, 2010  A severe winter storm is impacting CSX Transportation service in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Virginia.

This storm, with heavy snow and high winds, has affected commercial electrical power, and caused numerous trees to fall across tracks in many areas. Crews are working to clear these routes.

Coal customers should expect some loading delays and longer transit times during this period. CSXT is working to restore normal service in these and other storm-affected areas as quickly as possible.
