Direct Access


About Direct Access

Former employees of CSX will have access to Direct Access for 60 days following their separation to view and update pay and personal information. For assistance beyond this period, please contact the CSX Employee Service Center at 1-800-633-4045.

Former employees eligible for CSX Retiree Benefits can continue using Direct Access to manage benefit elections. Follow the instructions below to reset your password if needed.  
    

Password Reset Tool Instructions

  1. Open an internet browser.
  2. Type: logon.csx.com in the web browser bar.
  3. Enter your RACF ID or EMAIL ADDRESS in the username field. (Note: this is NOT your Employee ID).
  4. Click NEXT.
  5. Select Password.
  6. Click FORGOT PASSWORD.
  7. Verify yourself through Okta Verify using a security method that is setup on your account, such as Email, Okta Push Notification or Phone.
  8. Once verified, you will be prompted to enter a new password.
  9. The password requirements are at least three letters and three numbers. Please use an eight-character password. (Example: First three letters of last name, last digit of birth year, and four numbers.)

If you do not receive the email, push notification or phone verification, contact the CSX Employee Service Center at 1-800-633-4045. A representative will update your contact information in the system so that you can receive the verification at the appropriate email or phone number.

If when attempting to change your password you receive an error message, contact the CSX Service Desk at 1-800-CHESSIE (1-800-243-7743) for further assistance.
