Through an innovative partnership with Wide Angle Youth Media, CSX is releasing two new safety awareness videos that give a creative perspective on a serious topic. Wide Angle Youth Media is a nonprofit organization focused on media arts education as a way to inspire and support underserved youth in Baltimore. Since 2014, students from the organization have collaborated with CSX to develop media campaigns that communicate rail safety messaging in a way designed to resonate with their peers -- an important demographic for rail safety outreach.
The two latest videos will be released to coincide with national Rail Safety Week, September 24-30, 2017.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 27: The second video from Wide Angle Youth Media, Grade Crossing Conversation, imagines what happens when a father and daughter decide not to try and beat a train through a crossing. Waiting on the train to pass gives them a chance to catch up on important things... like Darrell.
MONDAY, SEPT. 25: We're excited to debut one of two new videos created in partnership with Wide Angle Youth Media! Watch Chainsaw Guy below to find out what happens when three teens on the run from a man with a chainsaw encounter something even more dangerous.
Watch the video below for more information on Wide Angle Youth Media, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the videos in the making.
