The CSX Coal Origin Directory has been updated. The Q1 2010 update reflects many of the changes noted during the last year associated with productivity and infrastructure changes at the loading origins to support larger and longer trains (as measured by cars per train). CSX provides the coal industry with numerous coal loading opportunities directly on CSX from nine different states.

Additional changes reflect 1) change in loadout ownership, 2) removal of origins that are no longer shipping coal and 3) changes in ownership name and address.

The new summary spreadsheet can be reviewed and downloaded from the Origin section of the Coal family of information tabs. Once at the Coal Origin section, please open the file below named Coal Origin Directory. This download version of the Directory, in Excel format, is an extract of the printed document. It contains the complete listing of our coal loading origins.

Its multiple tabs will help you find specific coal origin information:

1. The CSXT-supported origins in alphabetized by origin name
2. The coal companies' primary corporate addresses
3. A listing of our Rate Districts with links to maps showing load origin locations.
