Changes to the Agree-to-Load Function in the Coal Unit Train Tool

Released: Dec 11, 2008

This Sunday, December 14, there will be two changes to the Agree-to-load function in the Coal tool that will affect both Producers and Receivers.

Agree-to-load will have 3 states that a Producer can choose from, undecided, yes, or no. Producers will be able to change from one to another while the requested loading is still in Requested status. Once the request gets a yes, is activated and given a reservation number, the status can no longer be changed. The person placing the loading request will continue to get an email if a producer indicates No.

Producers will also have the ability to change the requested load date when the agree-to-load choice is Yes. If a date is changed, a reason will be required and that reason will be captured in the Request/Reservation audit history. Producers planning on saying Yes, or changing the date of a Yes, will be required to choose a load date that falls within a window of 2 days to 9 days from the current date.

If you have any questions, please contact your Coal Operations or your Commercial representative.
