Changes to CSXT Coal Tariff 8200, effective July 1, 2009

To: All CSX Coal customers

Subject: Modification of the 8200 tariff to include additional requirements and details for thawing of coal cars with potentially frozen coal

The CSX Tariff 8200 series is being modified effective July 1, 2009 to include additional sections associated with thawing of coal cars with potentially frozen coal.

Five new items have been added with the following item headers:

Item 2010 - DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER
Item 2015 - THAWING COAL CARS WITH POTENTIALLY FROZEN CARGO
Item 2020 - INSPECTIONS
Item 2025 - SUPERVISION OF THAWING OPERATIONS
Item 2030 - LIABILITY FOR IMPROPERLY THAWED CARS

These changes are required as a result of situations that occurred during the most recent freezing season (October 2008 - March 2009). These changes will be implemented prior to the next freezing season. The details associated with the new items are in the Coal Tariff CSXT 8200.
